Job Description
is seeking a cleared to join the U.S. Space Force team supporting the Space Systems Command mission of sustaining critical ground-based radar capabilities in You will be part of a team responsible for the operational maintenance and sustainment of radar systems vital to U.S. and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. In this role, you will support the government customer, Program Manager, and Chief Engineer by planning, developing, and delivering software solutions that support PARCS and UEWR systems while ensuring system performance, security, and mission readiness.
- Responsible for code development and code deployment for software version releases that modify the software baseline of BMEWS/PAVE PAWS ground-based radar sensors.
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software supporting mission-critical radar systems.
- Conduct analysis and collaborate with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, and reporting of information.
- Support system integration, test, development, and execution of complex system enhancements and upgrades.
- Develop technical solutions to complex engineering challenges requiring creativity, innovation, and sound technical judgment.
- Participate in troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex software and system issues while coordinating with engineers responsible for sustaining operational and test environments.
- Support the assessment of systems and networks to identify deviations from approved configurations, enclave policies, and local security requirements.
- Bachelor's degree and nine (9) or more years of relevant professional experience.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Experience developing software using C/C++, Java, Python, and FORTRAN.
- Experience working within Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation to capture software and system designs.
- Experience developing real-time embedded software for ground-based radar systems.
- Experience leading Agile software development teams.
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master and/or Product Owner.
- Knowledge of the Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) mission and supporting enterprise.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, including Cameo.
- Compensation: $160,001 - $200,000+
