Overview:
PDS Defense Inc. is seeking a Production Technician (Electro-Mechanical Assembly) - 3rd Shift
to perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of products in a manufacturing environment.
- Assemble and repair electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and schematics.
- Use hand tools and calibrated precision tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain compliance with FOD, ESD, safety, and quality requirements.
- Accurately document work performed.
- High School Diploma/GED and 1+ year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with electro-mechanical assembly or repair.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of shop processes, material handling, and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) concepts and systems (e.g., planned versus unplanned demand, economic order quantity, resource planning, material type, manufacture or purchase, lead times).
- Electro-Mechanical Skill - intermediate experience required.
- Calibration skills - intermediate experience preferred,
