Systems Engineer
MBSE | Test & Integration | Regional Strike Programs
Pittsfield, MA
Pay Estimated: $55.70 - $60.70/Hour

We are seeking a Systems Engineer - MBSE / Test & Integration to support Regional Strike Programs by developing, integrating, validating, and sustaining advanced hardware, software, and system solutions. This role supports multiple systems engineering disciplines, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), requirements engineering, hardware systems integration, and test & integration, within an Agile Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development, integration, and delivery of hardware, software, and system solutions for Regional Strike Programs.
- Perform systems engineering activities throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements development through system integration and verification.
- Develop, document, analyze, and manage system requirements to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Support hardware and software validation, verification, integration, and performance testing.
- Develop and maintain system models, simulations, and engineering analyses using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
- Support the design, integration, troubleshooting, and evaluation of hardware systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure successful system implementation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation supporting system architecture, requirements, integration, testing, and design activities.
- Participate in Agile planning, technical reviews, and cross-functional engineering efforts to support program objectives.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance preferred at time of hire.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline plus 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting systems engineering activities throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles, technical standards, and engineering methodologies.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Test and Integration Engineering
- Requirements Engineering
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Hardware Systems Engineering
- Familiarity with requirements management and system modeling tools.
- Experience supporting hardware and software integration, verification, validation, or performance testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile Development Experience
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and SysML.
- Experience with systems modeling, simulation, or design analysis.
- Experience integrating hardware and software systems in a DoD environment.
- Experience supporting missile, defense, aerospace, or Regional Strike programs.
- Experience with systems verification, validation, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with modern requirements management tools (such as DOORS or similar platforms).
