Job Description

Junior Program Analyst

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

Onsite: Clarksburg, WV

Secret Clearance Required; Sponsorship Available





  • Ensure the accuracy of all processing and research in accordance with federally published guidelines.
  • Conduct research on explosives permit checks and analyze information for validity.
  • Run criminal background checks as part of the Firearm Transactions, Explosives Permits, and other various background checks.
  • Report any point-of-contact changes to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate with law enforcement agencies via fax, e-mail, or phone and document communications.
  • Evaluate existing procedures and provide recommended actions or solutions.
  • Complete necessary document clean-up of existing records to update and/or purge documentation as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Attention to detail, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Chrome.
  • Active Security Clearance - Secret.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts including nights, weekends, and all holidays except Christmas.
