Long-term global network operations support (Live and funded to 2030)
- Coordinate with customers and DISA/Joint Fires Network teams to activate new network services in accordance with DISA/JFN standards.
- Perform Initial Test and Acceptance (IT&A) activities and complete required reporting and documentation.
- Implement network device configurations using predefined configuration templates (configlets).
- Manage service orders and ensure changes follow established change management procedures.
- Validate customer requirements using DISN tools and databases.
- Coordinate circuit activations with commercial vendors to deliver end-to-end connectivity solutions.
- Monitor network changes to ensure no adverse impact to customer traffic.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers.
- Engage stakeholders to clarify requirements, obtain approvals, and keep service requests moving forward.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications support.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
- Experience configuring, testing, and activating network systems and devices.
- Working knowledge of networking technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, WAN, and VRFs.
- Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network appliances.
- Understanding of data and voice network design using military and commercial protocols.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both independently and on a team.
- Pay range: $80,000 - $110,000 (Based on years of relevant experience)
