The Leidos Airborne & Mission Solutions Business Area is seeking an experienced Acquisition Program Support professional to serve as the Site Lead supporting Hybrid SATCOM acquisition and program management operations for government and defense customers. The selected candidate will provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for on-site contract support activities associated with the acquisition, integration, sustainment, and operational support of Hybrid SATCOM capabilities supporting mission-critical communications environments.
The Site Lead will act as the primary on-site point of contact for government representatives, Leidos leadership, and contract personnel while supporting acquisition planning, program execution, stakeholder coordination, and operational reporting for Hybrid SATCOM programs operating across commercial and military communication architectures.
The ideal candidate will possess experience supporting federal or DoD acquisition programs, SATCOM or communication systems programs, and cross-functional operational teams within dynamic mission environments.

- Serve as the primary Site Lead and on-site point of contact for government customers, Leidos leadership, and contract personnel supporting Hybrid SATCOM operations.
- Assist the Program Manager in overall program execution, governance, and delivery.
- Lead day-to-day operations of program activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Coordinate across engineering, technical, and operational teams to ensure integrated solutions.
- Coordinate daily operations and oversee on-site contract support personnel to ensure successful execution of program objectives, deliverables, and customer requirements.
- Support development, review, and management of acquisition documentation, program schedules, technical reports, and briefing materials related to Hybrid SATCOM initiatives.
- Monitor program activities, risks, milestones, action items, and deliverables to support timely execution of Hybrid SATCOM program objectives.
- Facilitate coordination between government stakeholders, engineering teams, SATCOM providers, subcontractors, and operational support personnel.
- Support contract management activities including staffing coordination, deliverable tracking, resource management, and operational reporting.
- Assist with meeting coordination, agenda preparation, action item tracking, and customer engagement activities supporting Hybrid SATCOM operations.
- Ensure compliance with program policies, cybersecurity requirements, security procedures, quality standards, and operational processes.
- Prepare and deliver program status updates, operational summaries, risk assessments, and management reports to government and Leidos leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading complex teams comprised of multiple subcontractors.
- Experience supporting federal government or DoD acquisition, program management, SATCOM, telecommunications, or mission support programs.
- Experience serving in a leadership, team lead, or site lead role supporting operational teams and customer-facing activities.
- Knowledge of Hybrid SATCOM concepts, communication systems, acquisition lifecycle management, and operational support processes.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Possess strong problem-solving, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills to be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams with diverse locations and 20+ personnel.
- Experience supporting complex defense contracts specifically with the Air Force
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, telecommunications infrastructure, and mission communication architectures.
- Experience coordinating with commercial SATCOM providers and government communication stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Jira, or other program management and collaboration tools.
