Position Summary
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about creating the next generation of products and services.
The selected candidate will work at the National Simulation Center on Fort Leavenworth. The person in this role will be responsible for researching and creating additions to the JLCCTC Played Items List.
What You'll Do
- Ensure interoperability and data consistency between simulation platforms and supporting systems.
- Validate and test integrated databases to ensure functionality and alignment with exercise objectives.
- Collaborate with database administrators, UE specialists, and M&S teams to support exercise requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and data exchange issues during execution.
- Maintain configuration control and documentation for integrated systems and databases.
- This position may require some travel not to exceed 20%
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Modeling & Simulation, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-8+ years of experience in M&S integration, simulation support, or database integration
- Experience with constructive simulation systems (e.g., WARSIM, JCATS, JTLS)
- Familiarity with simulation architectures (e.g., HLA, DIS)
- Strong understanding of data integration, validation, and system interoperability
- Experience supporting training exercises or mission rehearsal environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Army operations, force structures, and OPORD processes
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
