SUPERVISORY TRAINING SPECIALIST

• You will review and approve work plans to be accomplished by subordinates, establishes priorities and schedules for completion or work.
• You will oversea administration and execution of courses within the department.
• You will develop and deliver Information Warfare training material to naval units consisting of officers and enlisted personnel operating throughout the world.
• You will be required to communicate orally and in writing to create and present written correspondence and deliver presentations.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

• The incumbent must have completed Basic Instructor Course Qualification/NAVY NEC 805A or complete within 12 months of accepting position.
• The incumbent must possess a Master Training Specialist Certification or obtain the certification within 12 months of accepting the position.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Experience providing guidance to a diverse team of civilian and military personnel responsible for curriculum development and training delivery.
• Experience applying comprehensive knowledge of educational methods and the PADDIE+M model to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of technical training programs in accordance with Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) standards.
• Experience managing and directing training delivery, including scheduling, instructor certification, student progress monitoring, and analyzing course critiques to ensure curriculum effectiveness.
• Experience utilizing broad knowledge of meteorological and oceanographic (METOC) methods, systems, and techniques to guide the development and delivery of Information Warfare (IW) training curriculum.
