Journeyman Mission Support Specialist
In this role you will...
  • Plan, support, and manage Mission Assurance assessments end-to-end
  • Maintain and update the Integrated Assessment Schedule (IAS) to ensure assessment timelines are met
  • Coordinate assessment activities with Combatant Commands, MAJCOMs, installations, the Joint Staff, OSD, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate logistics and data gathering for assessment site visits
  • Support assessment reporting, feedback, and after-action processes
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • 3-10 years in any career field, discipline, or industry
  • Experience coordinating across multiple DoD echelons (COCOM, MAJCOM, installation) preferred
  • Background in assessment/evaluation planning or project coordination preferred
  • Familiarity with DoD assessment frameworks preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in any field
  • None specified
  • Active/current Top Secret (TS) clearance on Day 1 of performance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and TS/SCI with Caveats
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to work 100% on-site within a Government SCIF during core duty hours
  • CONUS travel may be required (coordinated with the Government at least 10 calendar days prior)
  • OCONUS travel may be required (e.g., EUCOM/PACOM AOR support; coordinated at least 20 calendar days prior, with Theater Business Clearances)
  • Local travel within the National Capital Region may be required
  • Trip and After-Action Reports are required following each trip
  • May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
  • May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
  • Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
  • Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

The anticipated compensation range for this position is  $100,000-300,000.  Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary/hour rate, including but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  Central to Watermark's employment philosophy is the wellbeing of our employees which is why we offer a robust benefits package and wellness program alongside of annual base compensation.
