Senior PACS Technician

Our Client is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Physical Access Control System (PACS) Technician who will be responsible for advanced installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise PACS environments supporting a federal client. This role includes local travel within Washington, DC, and Maryland to support multiple client sites and requires strong technical expertise across both physical security hardware and PACS software platforms.

Our Client is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Physical Access Control System (PACS) Technician who will be responsible for advanced installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise PACS environments supporting a federal client. This role includes local travel within Washington, DC, and Maryland to support multiple client sites and requires strong technical expertise across both physical security hardware and PACS software platforms.
Requirements
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PACS hardware and software systems
- Support PACS-related construction and installation activities (door hardware, locking systems, panels, cameras, and server racks)
- Perform system administration, including:
- Credential enrollment
- Access level management
- System configuration and maintenance
- Ensure system performance, security, and compliance with federal standards
- Support software updates, licensing, and technical troubleshooting
- Provide expert-level support for Lenel and associated PACS technologies
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting PACS systems
- One or more of the following certifications:
- Certified Systems Engineer ICAM PACS (CSEIP)
- Lenel Certified Associate (LCA)
- Lenel Certified Professional (LCP)
- Strong experience with PACS system administration
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting systems such as Lenel OnGuard, Lenel SCIF, or similar platforms
- Experience working in FISMA-compliant environments
- Strong understanding of PACS engineering principles and industry best practices
