Pay Rate: $67 - $72/hr
Job Description:
As a member of the Electrical Engineering department, you'll get to be a part of creating next generation of software-defined radios and cutting-edge communication systems.. This position will serve on-site at San Diego, CA at the Rancho Carmel campus
Responsibilities
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Basic Qualifications for Engineer Electrical 3
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field plus 5 or more years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field plus 3 years of experience.
Experience reading and interpreting specifications, schematics and block diagrams
Experience designing and debugging electrical circuits and/or products
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Electrical 3
Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects.
Experience with RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
Experience with RF/Digital hardware and software
Basic Understanding of VHDL Concepts & Programming
Experience with Hardware Requirements Derivation
Proficiency with Microsoft software Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.
Experience with AWR Microwave Office, LTSpice, Xpedition, Mentor Graphics, LabVIEW, & DOORS would be a plus.
