Deputy Project Manager

Overview

BlueWater Federal is looking for a Deputy Project Manager to support FEMA in SW Washington DC.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day contract execution and serve as the acting Project Manager in the PM's absence.
• Manage daily operations and activities, manage task assignments, deliverables, schedules; coordinate support across technical teams, monitors deliverables, supports staffing, oversees schedules, tracks performance metrics, and ensures timely completion of and quality control for all contract requirements.
• Serve as the primary integrator between technical subject matter experts and program leadership.
• Support FEMA NIMS meetings, coordinate responses to project action items, track decisions and follow-up actions, and support stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of project manager experience
• Must have an active Public Trust clearance.
• Demonstrated ability to support multiple complex, time-critical support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing activities
• PMP certification preferred.
