You will be the Quality Engineer Staff for the Missiles & Fire Control Quality Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product quality across hardware, software, systems, supplier, and customer domains.
As the Quality Engineer Staff you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across the MFC program.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Technical Engineering (STEM - Engineering / Science) degree at the Bachelor level or above
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance - DOD Secret
• Minimum of 5 years of professional quality-engineering experience in aerospace or a closely related industry
• Demonstrated experience with AS9100 Quality Management System, including:
• Performing First-Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Dispositioning non-conforming products/hardware
• Proven ability to conduct root-cause analysis using causal-analysis tools and to develop/maintain inspection standards, work instructions, and procedures
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and working with tooling and test-equipment manufacturing
• Ability to create accurate, complete and competitive proposals and Basis-of-Estimate (BOE) documentation
• Experience developing inspection methods, work instructions and procedures for manufactured products
• Knowledge of configuration and data-management practices
• Understanding of audit processes and how to apply audit findings
• Familiarity with industry-recognized quality systems (e.g., ISO, NADCAP)
• Experience working with government customers and meeting contract requirements
• Experience establishing performance metrics to identify and drive process improvement
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Energetic self-starter who collaborates effectively and resolves complex technical issues.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
