Onsite Job: Circuit Card Assembly Specialist Level D
Work Location: Huntsville, AL
Shift: Must be able to work any shift
Overtime: Must be able to work OT
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret Clearance (post start)
Education: High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of experience

Job Description:
  • Perform rapid repair and rework of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) on electronic and electrical assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Perform simple and complex modifications to circuit card parts and assemblies in accordance with IPC and J-STD requirements.
  • Operate shop tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment.
  • Document work results and collect data for statistical process control analysis.
  • Perform CCA repair and rework using work instructions, technical drawings, schematics, 2D/3D models, wiring diagrams, and other engineering documentation.
  • Complete fabrication, installation, adjustment, fit checks, fastener alignment, connections, and subassembly tasks.
  • Identify and document CCA non-conformances to the component level.
  • Perform approved repairs, modifications, and engineering changes to electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Assist in defining, implementing, monitoring, and improving repair and integration processes.
  • Maintain CCA rework charts, logs, records, and reports.
  • Handle hazardous waste (if qualified) and maintain required licenses, permits, and certifications.

Must Haves:
  • High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
  • 5-7 years of experience performing rework operations using hand and pneumatic tools.
  • 5 years of experience with J-STD-001.
  • 5 years of experience performing component-level soldering and electronics repair.
  • 3 years of experience with DoD and NASA Assembly Soldering Specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Basic computer skills including file management, desktop navigation, printer connectivity, and system settings.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and communication skills.
  • Ability to assemble, solder, desolder, inspect, repair, and document circuit card assemblies.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI).
  • Experience repairing faulty electronic components and circuits.
  • Ability to maintain tools and equipment in a clean, organized, and safety-compliant environment.

Education/Experience:

Typically requires a High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (such as vocational school/Associate degree plus 5 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related experience).
