Credence has an immediate need for a Procurement Technician who will be primarily responsible for supporting the B-52 Stratofortress Division (AFLCMC WBD) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

The B-52 Stratofortress division protects our nation by modernizing and sustaining the B-52 fleet and ensuring continued AF power projection. With a 60-year history as the backbone of the nation's nuclear deterrence operations, the current fleet of 76 B-52H aircraft is capable of deploying the widest array of weapons in the U.S. inventory and supports multiple combatant command operations. This division provides world-class expertise and technical services, ensuring the operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness of war-winning capabilities. It also maintains the airworthiness of the B-52 Stratofortress throughout its projected service life, which extends to 2050.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Accomplish tasks through the use of software programs/ databases to include, but not limited to: Contracting Writing System (ConWrite), FedBizOpps, EDA, Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation, and AF Data Services.
  • Subject to compliance with the FAR, DFARS, AF FAR supplements, mandatory procedures, informational guidance, as well as other applicable documents and regulations, systems, and guides, as required.
  • Provide assistance to the CO with the following tasks: preparing contracts and modifications; distributing contract documentation; providing database support and computer applications; supporting contract closeout; collecting data for audit and/or report requests; coordinating with other Government agencies and DFAS; creating, retrieving and requesting contracting reports; producing copies of acquisition documentation; preparing source selection material; and tracking contract milestones.
  • Perform self-inspections and present detailed and comprehensive reports with any corrective actions taken or required.
  • Ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies.
  • Assist in assessing and revising policies and procedures as needed to find ways to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency of work.
  • Participate in discussions and meetings.
  • Present clear, concise and well-structured presentations, oral or in writing, that address the designated procurement issues.
  • Consider the composition of the audience, knowledge level, and desired outcome when composing the material. The Contractor shall identify problems, both in broad and detailed terms, and attempt to resolve conflicts in a timely manner through discussions with responsible members in a meeting or working group.




  • Clearance: Secret
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD or
  • Seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a procurement technician
