Job Description
CGI Federal is seeking a highly experienced Senior Schedule Analyst to support the NASA Space Launch System (SLS) Program. This role provides mission critical scheduling expertise for large scale aerospace integration, advanced schedule risk assessments, and development of detailed schedules supporting Artemis missions and SLS program objectives.
This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
. Apply extensive knowledge of scheduling principles, tools, and analytical techniques to develop and manage complex program schedules.
. Develop Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) aligned to the program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), including full network logic, interdependencies, milestones, and schedule margin management.
. Perform routine updates, status reviews, logic checks, duration analyses, and coordination with Earned Value Management (EVM) analysts. Generate critical path analyses and conduct "what if" scenarios to evaluate program impacts.
. Update and maintain all SLS program and project schedules weekly and monthly in Microsoft Project Server, ensuring adherence to scheduling best practices and documenting all changes, variances, impacts, and corrective actions.
. Maintain schedule performance to plan summary charts for Artemis missions using Milestones Professional for program and element level reviews.
. Conduct monthly reviews of SLS prime contractors' schedules and prepare detailed findings and recommendations for NASA PP&C and Element management.
. Develop, submit, and present comprehensive monthly reports summarizing schedule health, risks, concerns, and recommended actions.
. Support development, status, and reporting of schedules, including analysis of schedule work arounds.
. Support critical SLS scheduling functions including SRA and Joint Confidence Level (JCL) assessments.
. Coordinate all schedule deliverables with NASA SLS XP03 PP&C Office and lead major program level schedule assessments.
. Extensive experience with program scheduling in large, complex technical environments.
. Expertise in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, schedule integration, network logic development, and critical path analytics.
. Experience with EVM integration, schedule risk assessments (SRA), and JCL methodologies.
. Ability to produce concise schedule reporting, variance analyses, and high quality schedule documentation.
. Experience supporting federal or aerospace programs preferred.
. Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
10-15 years of experience
Prior NASA/aerospace experience
Experience using software like Acumen Fuse, Milestones Professional, Onepager Professional, and Sharepoint.
Advanced understanding of GAO Best Practices for Project Schedules a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications
Basic understanding of EIA 748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $156,700.00.
