Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking an to join our team in .
This tech role supports flight test operations by maintaining, modernizing, troubleshooting, repairing/fabricating, and removing/replacing equipment and systems to keep testing interruptions to a minimum. The selected tech will also play a key role during testing to support engineering real-time during the tests. The job includes working on aircraft systems on the ground and in a lab as well as the potential to fly on the test bed aircraft.
The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated when working in a dynamic team environment. This position requires the candidate to become a non-flight crew member of an experimental aircraft which requires a medical evaluation by Boeing Medical.
- Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, and components
- Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of harnesses, components, test fixtures and test systems
- Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and posttest tear-down
- Assists the team in ensuring that the test equipment is functional and properly configured for the scheduled test activities
- Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements
- Supports occasional Saturday and extended shift as necessary to complete the mission
- Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic test-related problems
- Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results

- 1+ years of experience planning and conducting system level lab, ground, or flight testing
- 1+ years of experience wire harness design, wire harness installation or equipment installation
- 1+ years of experience have developing, troubleshooting procedures, diagnosing equipment for technical issues
- Willing to work travel domestically up to 10% of the time
- RF network/communications/antenna experience
- Aviation maintenance experience
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
