PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Lakeland, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll-related deductions, including garnishments and child support orders, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive information with care.

• Process and manage garnishments and child support payments, including setup and ongoing deductions
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to appropriate jurisdictions
• Respond promptly to employee and agency correspondence and inquiries
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Review and validate payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Identify and resolve discrepancies through analytical problem-solving

• Strong experience with SAP payroll systems
• Proven experience processing and setting up garnishments and court-ordered deductions
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Initial schedule: 4 days/week (Monday-Thursday), 10-hour shifts
• Hybrid role: Must be willing to work up to 2 days per week in-office
• Candidates reside within 15 miles of Lakeland, FL
