Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Tool Coordinator 1's for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
Client is seeking Entry Level Tool Coordinators to assist at our San Antonio, TX location.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED.
WORK HOURS: 4th shift - rotating. Must be open to work 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift.
PER CLIENT: Candidates who do not have the flexibility to work all shifts or variable shifts should not apply for this opportunity.
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
OT/Weekends: As required.
- 1+ years of experience with Production Control/Materials Management.
- Physical ability to stand for duration of a shift; able to lift, carry, move and manipulate a large volume and variety of parts.
- 1+ years of experience with warehouse or logistics operations.
- 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request.
Client is seeking Entry Level Tool Coordinators to assist at our San Antonio, TX location.
- Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions.
- Monitors work in process.
- Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
- Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
- Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
- Works under general supervision.

- 1+ years of Tool Control experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Manufacturing or Quality.
- Experience working in CribMaster, Andon, and BESSY.
- Experience using lean manufacturing principles.
Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
