Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test & Evaluation Lab Technician 3 for a contract opportunity in Seattle, WA.

The Impact You'll Make:
As a Lightning Lab Technician, you'll be at the heart of our testing operations. Your expertise will help engineers validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with global standards. The data you collect and the insights you provide will directly influence product safety certifications and customer trust.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for configuring test bed per test procedures and operate lab test equipment, including current transformer probes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems. As well, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining lab test equipment that requires the ability to troubleshoot circuits and solder repairs. This position requires an electrical background.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
Capable of lifting, bending, and reaching while configuring test beds.
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
Full-Time/First Shift
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

- Electronics lab equipment familiarity (current transformer probes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems).
- Electrical background, circuit analysis, and soldering.
- Mechanical background and ability to drill and cut test fixtures and test articles to modify as needed.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
