About the Job
The Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems (CUAS) Analyst provides senior-level operational and analytical support to USCENTCOM's Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Division (CCJ38). Based at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, this position supports the planning, integration, evaluation, and assessment of Counter-UAS capabilities across the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). The CUAS Analyst collaborates with Joint Staff, Combatant Command, Service, and partner nation stakeholders to develop operational solutions, assess emerging UAS threats, and enhance integrated command and control capabilities in support of regional and global mission objectives. Occasional domestic and international travel is required.

Responsibilities
Operational Planning & Integration
- Provide senior-level support for Counter-UAS (CUAS) operational planning, exercises, and mission execution activities.
- Develop, analyze, and coordinate CUAS solutions for contingency plans (CONPLANs), operations plans (OPLANs), and other operational planning efforts.
- Support the integration of national, Service, and partner nation CUAS assets into USCENTCOM's command and control architecture.
- Assist in the development and synchronization of Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) operational planning initiatives.
- Monitor and maintain awareness of CUAS force posture and system laydown throughout the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility.
Threat Analysis & Assessments
- Analyze and assess current and emerging Uncrewed Aerial System (UAS) threats impacting USCENTCOM operations and partner nation forces.
- Evaluate operational effectiveness of CUAS capabilities and identify opportunities to improve defensive operations.
- Provide analytical support for CUAS evaluations, operational assessments, and capability development initiatives.
- Monitor evolving adversary UAS tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to inform operational planning and recommendations.
Coordination & Mission Support
- Coordinate with Joint Staff, Combatant Command, Service components, government agencies, and partner nations to support CUAS integration efforts.
- Monitor, coordinate, and report on Joint Staff requirements processes related to testing, deployment, and employment of CUAS systems.
- Facilitate collaboration between government organizations and industry partners to identify technical solutions for operational challenges.
- Participate in planning conferences, working groups, and operational synchronization meetings supporting USCENTCOM missions.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare, edit, and review operational reports, assessments, briefings, and planning products for senior military leadership.
- Present technical and operational findings to General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO), executive leadership, and national-level stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate situational awareness products and operational reporting supporting command decision-making.
- Support multiple concurrent priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Minimum of five to eight years of relevant experience supporting Counter-UAS operational planning, integration, analysis, evaluations, and assessments.
- Demonstrated experience supporting military operational planning within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience drafting, editing, reviewing, and presenting written products to senior military leadership, including General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) audiences.
- Ability to independently lead assigned projects while effectively working within a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (no combat zone travel is authorized under this contract).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience analyzing adversary UAS tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Experience supporting Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) operational planning, analysis, evaluations, and assessments.
- Experience working on a Combatant Command staff.
- Experience planning and integrating Counter-UAS systems and capabilities.
- Working knowledge of Joint Staff requirements processes.
- Familiarity with the Joint Planning Process (JPP).
- Experience supporting both Intelligence and Operations organizations.
- Working knowledge of ISR Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) processes.
- Operational, testing, or program management experience supporting Counter-UAS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with government and private sector organizations to develop technical solutions for operational challenges.
