eGRC Data Specialist – RMF

Job Description:
As the eGRC Data Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of clients new eGRC platform, RegScale. Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive data discovery functions, analyzing data exports, and mapping information from legacy schemas to new, OSCAL-compliant formats.
You will be expected to develop automated scripts for data parsing and extraction, draft detailed assessments and reports on migration activities, and identify as well as categorize Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts for migration or archival. Your expertise will be crucial in transforming data from Excel, MS Word, and other legacy formats, ensuring a seamless transition to the system.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with Professional Services resources to coordinate and execute data migration tasks, leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. You will review SharePoint repositories to locate artifacts for migration, capture existing workflows, dashboards, and reports, and then reproduce or enhance them within the new eGRC solution. Developing custom dashboards, reports, and content tailored to stakeholder needs will be a key part of your role, as will generating and presenting key metrics to various audiences. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) artifacts and provide expert advice on data-related topics, supporting inquiries and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the migration process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform data discovery functions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Professional Services resources to perform migrate data.
- Analyze data exports.
- Perform mapping of data from one schema to another.
- Develop automated data parsing or extraction scripts.
- Draft assessments and reports related to data migration activities.
- Identify Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts and categorize for migration or archival.
- Discover System Security Plans (SSP), Control Artifacts, Assessment Trackers, and other RMF artifacts in Excel or MS Word for migration.
- Transform data in legacy formats and schemas into an OSCAL compliant target format.
- Leverage AI to support data migration activities.
- Review SharePoint repositories to discover artifacts for migration.
- Capture legacy system workflows, dashboards, and reports for migration.
- Reproduce workflows, dashboards, and reports in the new eGRC solution.
- Develop custom dashboards, reports, and content.
- Work with stakeholders to generate and present key metrics.
- Contribute to the generation of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) artifacts.
- Advise on data related topics and support data related inquiries.
Required Skills:
- Data Migration.
- Data Modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Cybersecurity, Data, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience with proven experience with cybersecurity and IT data.
- Strong understanding and experience working with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Strong understanding of cyber security best practices.
- Experience performing security engineering functions.
- Experience developing and modifying scripts.
- Experience mapping inheritance and Common Control Catalogs.
- Experience developing or tuning Risk Scoring.
- Experience mapping data schemas.
- Experience working with OSCAL.
- Experience working on Federal systems.
- Experience working in AWS GovCloud.
