Description:
You will be the Design Engineer / Checker - Level 3 for the Build to Package Verification Process and Compliance team which is responsible for ensuring the integrity, completeness, and compliance of F-35 engineering designs and 3-D models.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, equivalent experience/ combined education considered, with 2 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of engineering design or design checking or quality assurance experience with a strong CAD focus, preferably on advanced fighter aircraft programs. Working experience with Full-Sized Determinant Assembly (FSDA) modeling practices.
- Proficient user of Siemens' NX CAD system.
- Working knowledge and practical application of ASME Y14.5 GD&T along with familiarity of ASME drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a model centric environment and perform model based verification.
- Proficient with PC operations, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and PLM tools.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
- Working experience with Siemens' TeamCenter PLM tools.
- Mono-based or mono-detail design practices experience.
- Experience with Full Sized Determinant Assembly (FSDA) designs.
- Knowledge of DoD contract requirements and MIL STD documentation.
- Familiarity with Configuration Management.
- Working knowledge and practical application of ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing practices.
- Ability to develop check scripts/macros to automate routine verification tasks.
- Very detail oriented with good verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast paced, deadline driven team settings.
- One-team mindset to achieve common goal.
