Senior Operations Manager

Description

Saalex Corporation is seeking a Senior Operations Manager in Saint Inigoes, MD. Saalex is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services.

Position Type: Full-Time/Contingent on award

Salary: $135K-$200K (depending on experience)

Work Location: Onsite.

Essential Functions:

• Act as the single point of authority for the entire contracted effort.
• Provide strategic leadership and executive oversight for overall contract execution.
• Maintain ultimate accountability for contract performance, financial execution, and customer satisfaction.
• Direct cross-functional teams and subordinate managers across multiple operational sites.
• Establish program goals, procedures, and operational direction to support successful program performance.
• Manage contractual and financial aspects of the program.
• Serve as the primary strategic interface with senior Government leadership.
• Deliver high-level briefings on program status, milestones, and overall performance.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Required:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience performing work aligned with the functional responsibilities of the role.
• At least 5 years of the required experience must be in engineering or technical management with the U.S. Navy or other DoD programs.
• At least 5 years of the required experience must be in production facility management.
• Experience providing executive-level leadership and oversight for contract performance, financial execution, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and subordinate managers across multiple operational sites.
• Experience interfacing with senior Government leadership and delivering high-level program briefings.

Desired:

• Prior experience supporting U.S. Navy programs.
• Prior experience supporting DoD programs.
• Demonstrated background overseeing multi-site operations, program milestones, and cross-functional execution.
• Strong background in contract performance, financial management, and customer-facing program leadership.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Technical, or Business discipline and 10 years of experience OR Associates degree and 12 years of experience, OR HS Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience required.

Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
