WG-10: Perform procedures and adjustments necessary to start, operate, and maintain power plant equipment (i.e., boilers, gas turbines, chillers, cooling towers, and auxiliary and pollution control equipment) to meet load demands and maintain efficient levels of combustion and compliance with pollution laws.
WG-08: Under close supervision ability to perform procedures and adjustments necessary to start, operate, and maintain power plant equipment (i.e., boilers, gas turbines, chillers, cooling towers, and auxiliary and pollution control equipment) to meet load demands and maintain efficient levels of combustion and compliance with pollution laws.

- You will operate Chilled Water System consisting of absorption and centrifugal chillers.
- You will operate dual fuel Turbine Generators with waste heat boilers to distribute hot water and electricity.
- You will control Distribution of electricity from multiple sources to the local grid.
- You will operate photovoltaic systems for the production of electrical power.
- You will monitor a medium voltage electrical distribution system during normal and emergency operations.
- You will monitor utility systems to include remote screens from other operations, and report alarms or other relevant information.
- You will operate Hydronic Distribution systems such as High Temperature Hot Water distribution systems and Chilled Water distribution systems.

- Must possess or be able to obtain Boiler Certification Operator's license or Stationary Engineer or other applicable license or certification from an accredited source within 18 months of being placed in the position.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position requires rotating shift work.
