Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting program and management studies, analyze findings, derive significant conclusions, and recommend constructive solutions to particular problems or deficiencies; 2) Providing technical shipboard knowledge of engineering and combat system equipment, systems, maintenance, operation and processes and; 3) Applying an analytical ability with a comprehensive knowledge of management functions, technical processes, shipboard systems and principles, and of methods used to gather, analyze, and evaluate information concerning program management processes. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). - This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
