Job Description

Duties

  • Performs analyses, develops strategies and coordinates plans and Electronic Document Access programs in consonance with the major goals, policies, and target dates established by management.
  • Manages invoice reports (i.e., aged, overage) and takes appropriate action to clear aged invoices over 30 days to ensure prompt and timely payment to vendors.
  • Performs PIEE (Procurement Infrastructure Enterprise Environment) - Administrator for access roles and works with users to solve issues for users accepting invoices, reviewing contracts in EDA (Electronic Document Access) and reports.
  • Interacts with technical project leads to determine program goals, objectives, and resource requirements.
  • Provide e-Business support to contract writing systems and assists employees with IT issues regarding computers, communications, and contract/procurement application support.

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.

Specialized experience is defined as: Conducting projects or studies to identify, coordinate, or propose solutions to acquisition IT-related programs OR performs management of Change Advisory Board (CAB) to include change, configuration, training, testing, or release management for acquisition systems.

Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service.

You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Education

There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level
