Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Security Clearance in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and support access activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report access-related issues or policy violations.
• Support a professional presence at an aerospace and defense location by maintaining awareness of surroundings, following post instructions, and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
