BAE Systems has an immediate need for an Interior Communications and Alarms, 1MC Technician to support our US Navy AEGIS TECHREP customer serving as a member of the AEGIS Test Team in Pascagoula, MS.
The successful candidate must have prior experience with installation, troubleshooting and testing of Interior Communications systems installed aboard US Navy ships. 1MC experience or previous electrical expertise required. Experience with installing testing and troubleshooting shipboard electrical issues required. Candidate also should be familiar with alarm systems and be able to test witness and/or test both IC and Alarms. Candidate will work directly with the shipbuilder, contractors and US Navy personnel in auditing the progress towards completion of the IC and Alarms Systems. Work will be performed at the AEGIS Test Team in Pascagoula, MS aboard new construction DDG 51 class Destroyers. Prior US Navy experience or shipbuilder experience required. Successful candidate may be required to travel for periods of time to support ongoing availabilities or to assist in other shipyards. Candidate must be able to work in a team environment with various contractor, government and US Navy personnel.

Full-Time Salary Range: $60030 - $102060
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to read and interpret official US Navy drawings and publications.
- Former US Navy or shipbuilding experience.
- Ability to perform and/or witness IC and alarms testing.
- Experienced in Microsoft office professional especially Excel
- Good Communications Skills both Oral and Written
- Experienced in testing/Troubleshooting the 1MC System.
