Job Description

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Deployment and Implementation Operations Lead (Project Manager III - Deployment Lead I&D) to support Kadiak and our government customer. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. The position is remote.

The Implementation and Deployment Operations Lead (Project Manager III) will serve as a senior operational and deployment leader responsible for enterprise-wide coordination, governance, and operational oversight of Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation and deployment activities within a complex federal healthcare environment. This role supports ongoing enterprise operations through oversight of Implementation, Deployment, Cohort Evaluation and Readiness Plan, and Go-Live and Onsite Incident Command.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties:

Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Proven experience deploying and integrating the Oracle Millennium EHR across multiple sites.
  • Deep understanding of EHR systems, healthcare IT infrastructure, and federal health IT initiatives.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) and deployment best practices.
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage cross-functional deployment teams.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience in large-scale IT/EHR deployments.
  • Proficiency in developing detailed deployment plans, test scripts, and cutover activities.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, system integration, and EHR principles.
  • Background in healthcare data migration and patient record management.
  • Strong problem-solving, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to clinical and non-technical staff.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and project management tools.


Desired Abilities and Competencies:
  • Knowledge of Meaningful Use, HIPAA, and healthcare data security requirements.
  • Experience working with tribal healthcare facilities or IHS programs.
  • Understanding of IHS policies and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide team members through the challenges of large-scale deployments.
  • Aptitude for driving process improvements and innovative deployment strategies.
  • Proficiency in risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making under pressure.


Required Criteria:
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience
  • Minimum 5 years Federal Government experience
  • 7-10+ years in implementing Health IT solutions including Oracle Millenium EHR product.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Tableau


Security Requirement:
  • US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance of at least a public trust


Favorable Criteria:
  • Master's degree in Health Informatics, IT, or related field
  • 7-10 years hospital or clinic experience
  • Experience presenting to large groups or key stakeholders preferred
  • Experience with Epic, Cerner, or other major EHR platforms preferred.
  • PMP, ITIL, or SAFe Agile certifications preferred
