Credence is seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of a training program for a global Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) food cataloging and ordering application being developed on ServiceNow platform. This position will be based in the Washington, DC area and will support worldwide users of STORES 2.0 application.

Responsibilities:

Training Program Development
  • Contribute to the end-to-end development, implementation, and sustainment of a training program and materials supporting the testing and deployment of STORES 2.0 on ServiceNow platform.
  • Coordinate and execute role-based training rollout strategies for worldwide deployment, ensuring all stakeholder groups-including DLA Administrators, U.S. Military Services and Commercial Food Vendors.
  • Maintain a comprehensive training program plan that aligns with system capability releases, modernization schedules, and mission requirements.

Training Content Development
  • Create high-quality training materials including instructor-led courses, e-learning modules, job aids, quick reference guides, and simulation-based scenarios, for both in-person and online training, synchronous and self paced.
  • Ensure training content accurately reflects application workflows, cataloging standards, ordering processes, and compliance with relevant DoD logistics and subsistence policies.
  • Conduct periodic content reviews to ensure accuracy, alignment with system updates, and continued relevance.
  • Plan and communicate training schedules and receive feedback from training sessions.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to training content, deployment methods, and learner support resources based on evaluation data.

Deployment Planning & Coordination
  • Support the coordination of worldwide training scheduling, logistics, and communication for new system users and system release training events.
  • Conduct Train-the-Trainers in regional areas and support initial, in-person training by DLA in international locations.
  • Partner with DLA to synchronize training timelines with system deployment and change management activities.
  • Support the tracking of onboarding progress, training completions, and certification status of all end-users; prepare summary reports and briefings for program leadership.

Program Oversight, Reporting & Policy Support
  • Develop training metrics and dashboards to validate workforce readiness and training effectiveness across the global user base.
  • Support the development and refinement of policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidance related to training and user readiness.
  • Participate in client briefings, program reviews, and stakeholder engagements to provide updates on training progress, risks, and recommendations.

Administrative & Technical Support
  • Assist with training documentation management, research tasks, meeting coordination, and the preparation of training artifacts.
  • Support the integration of training requirements into system acquisition, configuration, and sustainment processes.
  • Ensure training aligns with DoD standards, data governance requirements, and operational needs within the food distribution and logistics mission space.


Requirements

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DLA Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree and up to three (3) years of relevant experience, or
    • Five (5) years of relevant training, logistics, supply chain, or system deployment experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing training programs for ServiceNow/enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of training evaluation methodologies and measurement of training effectiveness.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), curriculum development, and training documentation.
  • Familiarity with DoD logistics, cataloging, food service operations, or supply chain systems highly desirable.
  • Experience coordinating global or large-scale training deployments preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to support in-person events, as requested by DLA
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Experience working in client facing roles and able to communicate independently.


Salary Range: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, education, skills, and overall qualifications
