DESCRIPTION OF POSITION / DUTIES:
All Points is seeking a Chief Network Solutions Architect to support the AMC/A6 Base Infrastructure Modernization effort.
*This position is contingent upon contract award.*
The selected candidate will serve as the senior technical authority responsible for solutioning, engineering, and modernization of United States Air Force installation network infrastructure across global locations, with a strong emphasis on Air Mobility Command (AMC) communications environments.
This role will lead the design and modernization of secure, resilient, and scalable enterprise network architectures supporting mission-critical USAF operations including air mobility, command and control, logistics, maintenance, installation support, and expeditionary missions.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience supporting Air Force base communications infrastructure, enterprise network modernization initiatives, cybersecurity compliance requirements, and geographically dispersed DoD environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Lead technical solutioning efforts for USAF base network modernization initiatives across CONUS and OCONUS installations.
- Design modern, secure, and scalable enterprise network architectures supporting Air Mobility Command missions.
- Develop technical solutions supporting base-area networks, LAN/WAN modernization efforts, and campus network upgrades.
- Architect network core, distribution, and access layer refresh initiatives.
- Support modernization of fiber backbone infrastructure and outside plant communications systems.
- Design and expand wireless network infrastructure supporting installation operations.
- Engineer secure transport and enterprise connectivity solutions.
- Develop network segmentation strategies aligned with Zero Trust architectures.
- Assess legacy infrastructure and develop modernization roadmaps aligned with mission priorities and cybersecurity requirements.
- Support development of engineering designs, bills of material, site survey reports, implementation plans, and technical solution packages.
- Provide network engineering expertise supporting Air Mobility Command operational environments including airlift, aerial refueling, aeromedical evacuation, logistics, and rapid global mobility missions.
- Coordinate modernization efforts with communications squadrons, mission partners, cyber teams, network operations organizations, and civil engineering stakeholders.
- Ensure network architectures meet mission availability, resiliency, and continuity of operations requirements.
- Serve as the senior technical authority for network design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities.
- Provide hands-on engineering support for routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, network management platforms, and secure remote access technologies.
- Develop and review High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), migration plans, implementation plans, test plans, cutover plans, network diagrams, and as-built documentation.
- Support site surveys and infrastructure assessments at AMC locations worldwide.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, constraints, and mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to engineers, field technicians, implementation teams, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with DoD and USAF cybersecurity requirements.
- Support implementation of secure configurations aligned with RMF, DISA STIGs, Zero Trust principles, DoD 8140 requirements, NIST security controls, and CMMC requirements as applicable.
- Support vulnerability remediation, POA&M development, accreditation efforts, and secure baseline management.
- Coordinate with ISSMs, ISSOs, Authorizing Officials, cybersecurity personnel, and operations teams.
- Improve network visibility, monitoring, segmentation, access control, and cyber resiliency.
- Interface directly with USAF customers, AMC stakeholders, communications squadrons, contracting representatives, and mission partners.
- Support technical briefings, design reviews, working groups, and program management reviews.
- Translate operational mission requirements into practical and executable network engineering solutions.
- Present technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline is required.
- Master's degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 15+ years of Information Technology experience.
- 10+ years of senior-level network engineering and network architecture experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active, current, and fully adjudicted Top Secret clearance required.
COMPENSATION:
- $200,000 - $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
