We want you to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program by joining the Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team as a Senior Cyber Architect. The FBM SSE team handles all Security Engineering development and execution for the Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team and Missile Subsystems.
We have a Weapon System level view of the FBM Program with activities related to integrating FBM Cyber and Systems Security capabilities for the Life Extension 2 (LE2) missile into the submarine weapon system, as well as supporting efforts to integrate missile subsystems into the flight vehicle design and reentry programs.
As a lead Architect for SEIT on the FBM Life Extension 2 (LE2) program, you will:
• Develop, evaluate, and analyze design constrains, trade-offs, and detailed system/security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain.
• Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions.
• As needed, conduct and support cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
• Apply DoD and industry Cyber Security processes, methods, techniques, and tools to ensure their consistent application.
• Lead Cyber architecture enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement an architectural strategy that facilitates effective security solutions.
• Coordinate with other security disciplines to determine the optimal placement of systems/system elements within the architecture to address security issues between systems and the architecture.
• Assist with determining appropriate control implementations and initial configuration baselines as they relate to the architecture.
• Participate in component trade studies to select optimal protection solutions.
• Have knowledge or experience with Systems Engineering and Cyber Security Test and Evaluation
• Support our large, dynamic and critical program in achieving SSE applicable
• Integrate HwA into Systems Engineering (SE) and Cyber Security Processes
• Provide guidance to achieve Hardware (HW) trustworthiness and risk management in systems and lifecycles
• Apply Systems Engineering and Cyber Security principles to meet functional and objective mission requirements .
• Coordinate across Integrated Product Teams, customer and other contractors to execute System Security Engineering technologies.
• Help ensure the resiliency in the Supply Chain
• Organize/coordinate domain expert objective evidence creation and documentation.
• Organize/coordinate system level technical reviews.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of DoD 8140 IAT Level III (e.g., CISSP certification).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and emerging threats.
• Proficiency in various cybersecurity tools, technologies, and frameworks.
• Experience designing complex and scalable cybersecurity architectures in government environments.
• Effectively communicate security strategies and risks to both a technical and non-technical stakeholder.
Desired Skills:
• Strong ability to inspire cooperation, confidence, and motivation of a multi-stakeholder team.
• Experience in writing Basis of Estimates (BOE).
• Experience with the creation of technical engineering artifacts.
• Strong technical writing and briefing skills.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and tools.
• Knowledge of DISA STIG and IAVM processes
• Knowledge of Anti-Tamper, Supply Chain Risk Management, and Hardware/Software Assurance.
• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, such as Cameo.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $150,800 - $265,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
