Job Description

Position title : System Administrator

Location : Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC

Clearance required : SECRET

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Maintain server systems within SOMTC training enclaves.
  • Manage user accounts and access controls.
  • Administer and configure virtual machines.
  • Support and maintain exercise SharePoint sites.
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and security across assigned environments.


Qualifications

  • Associate in an IT-related field or equivalent military training.
  • DCWF System Administrator (451) at Basic (Security+ CE or CySA+).
  • System administration; network and OS hardening.
  • File systems (NTFS, FAT, EXT).
  • IT security, including firewalls, DMZs, and encryption.
  • Protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
  • OS command line.
  • System/server diagnostics.
  • Virtualization and VM management.
  • Performance monitoring and optimization.
  • In-depth Microsoft Server, VMware (vCenter), and SharePoint administration; Joint/Army Mission Command systems such as TAK, CPCE, and SOF MC; ACAS, AESS, Trellix, Microsoft Defender Endpoint, and other DoD security tools.
