The selected candidate will work with task leads and within a team to meet material requirements in support of multiple projects and customers operating simultaneously to ensure customer objectives are achieved on-time and within financial constraints. The selected candidate must be highly motivated, well-organized, and practice effective time management in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will have experience in acquisition logistics operations with working knowledge of inventory management systems, government property inventory audits requirements, and purchasing.

Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590

The selected candidate will have experience in acquisition logistics operations with working knowledge of inventory management systems, government property inventory audits requirements, and purchasing.
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform market research to obtain cost and lead times for required material.
- Plan, schedule and manage material movement from receipt or warehouse to production.
- Provide material acquisition recommendations to project leads based on analysis of project material requirements and production schedule.
- Assess and address long lead items impacts across multiple programs and projects.
- Support material scheduling requirements for engineering and production requirements.
- Create and update Material Parts Lists (MPL) / Material Equipment Lists (MEL).
- Submit purchase requests for PO and/or P-Card purchases.
- Maintain and update material status reports and advise project / program leads on impacts, delays, and/or task completion.
- Negotiate lead times with suppliers to support production schedule requirements.
- Address and respond to material shortages to prevent production delays.
- Proactive management of supply chain risks through research of substitutions for obsolete and/or long lead parts and communicating mitigation strategies to project leads.
- Strategies to support engineering change orders and their impact to affected parts and current stock.
- Maintain BAE records/accountability of material at customer site to ensure audit readiness and compliance on stored material support requirements.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School diploma and at least six years of experience OR Associate degree and at least four years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience
- Ability to interact and communicate well with others, problem-solve, and multi-task
- Basic computer skills with operational knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
