As a BUDGET ANALYST at the GS-0560-7/9/11/12 some of your typical work assignments may include:

You may qualify at the GS-07 , if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
C. You have some specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and you have more than one year but less than two years of education as described in B. You have computed the percentage of the requirements that you meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.)
You may qualify at the GS-09 , if you fulfill the following qualifications:

As a BUDGET ANALYST at the GS-0560-7/9/11/12 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Responsible for financial management oversight and execution of USTRANSCOM Headquarters resources for assigned program areas, and provides financial advisory services on USTRANSCOM Headquarters financial management matters relative to funds received from various sources.
- Formulates and develops assigned portion of the USTRANSCOM Transportation Working Capital Fund (TWCF) budget and the Capital Asset Program Budget and Air Force POM
- Reviews and analyzes budget estimates, cost studies and impact statements for accuracy and compliance with current policy.
- Prepares narrative and statistical justification data to support budgets and financial plan submissions in budget hearings.
- Serves as liaison between program managers and their representatives and other staff agencies connected with the budget process.

- Knowledge of commonly-used budget and/or finance practices, procedures, regulations. precedents, policies, and guides
- Assists in applying methods and techniques for analyzing and evaluating the effects of continuing changes in program plans and funding on the accomplishment of the budget and program milestones, OR
C. You have some specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and you have more than one year but less than two years of education as described in B. You have computed the percentage of the requirements that you meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12.
