Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a Mid-Level Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Commercial Military Derivative Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) team, in Tukwila, WA.

The team is looking to add a mid-level structural analysis engineer to support structural integrity, IAT programs, and sustainment programs for a variety of military platforms and customers in a broad customer-facing environment.

This role will primarily support the structural integrity programs for Boeing FAA-certified commercial derivative military aircraft. The team has a deep technical background in durability, damage tolerance, stress analysis, and military usage, which is leveraged to increase operational safety and availability while reducing customer costs. The team develops, maintains, and deploys sophisticated Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT) software hosted on enterprise-level database platforms.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Performs structural analysis tasks using well defined analysis tools to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Performs stress analysis, durability analysis, and damage tolerance analysis for aircraft structure.
  • Tests and executes Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT) software tools.
  • Analyzes aircraft usage and structural condition data using structural integrity data analytics tools.
  • Prepares ASIP routine usage and condition reports.


Basic Qualifications - (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 3+ years of experience in structural, mechanical, or aeronautical engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with structural analysis methods and repair principles (e.g., fatigue and corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, repair techniques, damage tolerance)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in structural, mechanical, or aeronautical engineering

Summary Pay Range Experienced (Level 3): $111,350 - $150,650
