Job Description

Summary

The Program Manager serves as the senior leader responsible for the overall planning, execution, management, and sustainment of complex security systems and related information technology programs supporting government customer requirements. The incumbent provides strategic oversight of program operations, technical execution, schedule performance, financial management, risk mitigation, cybersecurity compliance, customer engagement, and personnel leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale, complex security systems programs throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Direct program planning, execution, monitoring, and sustainment activities to ensure successful delivery of contractual requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Government customers and senior stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight of technical disciplines, including information technology, engineering, cybersecurity, systems integration, and operations.
  • Develop and manage program schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks while implementing corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, contract requirements, security procedures, and organizational policies.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams consisting of program managers, engineers, cybersecurity professionals, technical specialists, and support personnel.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings, status reports, metrics, and strategic recommendations.
  • Support business growth activities, transition planning, and capture efforts as requested.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure mission success and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and program effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Management, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible experience supporting the implementation and sustainment of complex security systems.
  • Experience in one or more related technical disciplines, including: Information Technology Management, Engineering,Project Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex government programs and technical teams.
  • PMP certification.
  • Active TS clearance.
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of program management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in risk management, budget oversight, and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and information assurance requirements.
