Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Controller to oversee the complete document and data control lifecycle for a multi-billion dollar mega-project in Riyadh. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and managing robust document control processes, systems, and governance across the entire Program Management Office (PMO), Program Management Consultants (PMCs), contractors, and external stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Enforce Governance: Ensure the Document Control Procedure is strictly followed by the PMO and PMCs, updating the procedure as the program evolves.
  • System Management: Oversee and optimize the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for the entire master program.
  • Workflow Design: Create, implement, and maintain efficient automated workflows for program documentation within the EDMS.
  • Performance Reporting: Generate and distribute weekly log reports tracking outstanding and overdue actions to maintain PMO accountability.
  • Capacity Building: Lead training programs for PMO team members, PMCs, and stakeholders on EDMS protocols and best practices.
  • Standardization: Utilize your experience in procedure writing to author comprehensive documentation standards, guidelines, and manuals.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in document control management, specifically on large-scale infrastructure or mega-projects.
  • Mentorship: Proven willingness and ability to share knowledge and train diverse teams on EDMS platforms and SharePoint.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with PMO leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Tech Stack: High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and advanced familiarity with enterprise document management systems.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Leadership: Self-motivated drive to align the EDMS strategies of the PMO, PMCs, and supply chain partners.
  • Credentials: PMP certification is highly preferred to align with PMO methodologies.
  • Certifications: Professional certification in document control (e.g., Certified Document Controller, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) or records management.
  • Compliance: Strong knowledge of international legal, regulatory, and governmental document retention requirements.
  • Integration: Familiarity with integrating document control systems with broader Project Management Office tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
