Job Description
seeks a motivated, career and customer-orientedto join our vehicle sustainment team in the selected candidate will provide maintenance support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
- Provides lead instruction and technical support to increase operator/maintainer proficiency and sustain system readiness.
- Requires independent performance with minimal supervision, coordination with supported units, and compliance with applicable technical manuals, safety standards, and reporting requirements.
- Lead and deliver CROWS operator and maintainer training (including OPNET/FLMNET instruction as applicable); coordinate schedules, rosters, and training logistics.
- Develop and maintain course curriculum, training modules, and instructional materials; assess needs and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Provide on-site and remote technical assistance; troubleshoot hardware/software/network/integration issues and drive problems to resolution.
- Install/verify approved software updates, patches, and configuration changes; ensure systems are optimized to platform specifications.
- Support field-level maintenance and readiness actions; advise units on corrective actions and assist with parts identification/ordering.
- Document training, faults, maintenance actions, and readiness status in customer-required systems (e.g., GCSS-A as applicable); produce required reports.
- Bachelors's degree and 9 years of relevant experience OR HS diploma and 15 years of relevant experience.
- Training personnel shall have successfully completed a legacy or current TRADOC approved Army Instructor training course (Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS), Common Faculty Development Instructor Course, or TRADOC equivalent.
Alternatively, training personnel can be certified through a public or private civilian certification program, or by a documented contractor certification program. The contractor shall submit contractor and civilian certification programs for pre-approval by the Government with supporting rationale. - Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver's License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
- Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
- Must be a US Citizen with a current/active secret clearance.
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work in high noise areas.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
