Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Assurance System Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
The Information Assurance System Administrator is responsible for providing a full range of IT support services with client/server services, enterprise services, and network communications. Moreover, you will demonstrate a strong understanding of Server and Client functions in Windows and Linux environments, including Active Directory, DNS, GPOs, PKI, Auditing, Multi-Factor Authentication, and SIEM tools. Lastly, you will exhibit extensive experience in Information Assurance in support of ICD-503 compliance.

Physical Requirements:
The Information Assurance System Administrator is responsible for providing a full range of IT support services with client/server services, enterprise services, and network communications. Lastly, you will exhibit extensive experience in Information Assurance in support of ICD-503 compliance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working with A&A authorities within the customer and IC to ensure IA measures meet mission objectives IAW applicable security policies and directives. Supplying accreditation artifacts in support of ATO submissions and POAMs
- Deploying all required STIGs, software upgrades, and patches as directed
- Utilizing SIEM and network monitoring tools including Splunk, EVSS, ACAS, SCCM, and HBSS
- Performing maintenance, repair, and upgrade of hardware and printers, interfacing with support repair techs, and researching hardware/software to meet customer needs
- Participating in Technical Exchange Meetings and supporting process improvement initiatives as directed
- Assisting with administration, troubleshooting, and testing of configuration changes and software patches within the network. Identify and mitigate security and hardening issues from configurations changes and software patches.
- Providing superior customer service and communication within a dynamic customer-centric environment, with occasional CONUS travel less than 25%
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 4 or more years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience
- Active Security+ certification
- Working knowledge of the security hardening process as it relates to ICD 503 and DCID 6/3 for server and client operating systems
- Demonstrated experience with COMSEC protocols and procedures
- Extremely motivated individual who is a self-starter, a team player, and able to work independently when required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting the NRO or the Intelligence Community
- Experience using SIEM tools
- Experience with the management and administration of Red Hat Linux.
- Experience with the management and administration of VMWare environments
Clearance Requirements:
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
