Indotronix is seeking an Onsite Job: Aircraft Product Repair Technician - Level C

Work Location: Maxwell AFB, AL
Duration: 06 Months Contract
Shift: Rotating 1st & 2nd Shift
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM (Monday - Thursday)
  • Some weekend shifts available (Comp Time on Saturdays)
    Education: High School Diploma/GED
    Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required
Job Description:
  • Support the USAF Reserve Unit maintaining the MH-139 Grey Wolf helicopter fleet.
  • Troubleshoot integrated conventional weapons systems, electronic and electromechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, alternate mission equipment, and test equipment.
  • Perform maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication, and modification of integrated weapons systems and associated electronic and electromechanical components.
  • Remove, install, and configure electronic components, fire control systems, bomb navigation systems, and related subassemblies.
  • Perform pre-test, operational, functional, electrical, mechanical, and final testing of aircraft systems and components.
  • Execute configuration changes to conventional weapons control, launch, release, and suspension assemblies based on mission requirements.
  • Perform explosive operations including loading, unloading, positioning, arming, and safing conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics.
  • Maintain tool accountability, clean work areas, and complete work control documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Support rotating shifts and overtime as required by operational needs.
Must Haves:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • 3-5 years of military avionics experience on any aircraft platform.
  • Experience with testing, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and configuration of aircraft electronic systems.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends when required.
Preferred:
  • Military background.
  • Previous helicopter maintenance experience (MH-139 preferred).
  • Experience with M240 maintenance.
  • Experience uploading chaff/flare onto aircraft.
  • Experience handling explosives and squibs.
  • Knowledge of IMDS.
  • Familiarity with AFI 21-101 (listed as AF-21-10 in the requirement).
  • Knowledge of TO 00-20-1.
  • AMP (Aircraft Maintenance Program) experience.
Education/Experience:

High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school, Associate degree + 2 years of related experience, Bachelor's degree, etc.).
