Are You a Platform Engineer Ready to Build Secure, Scalable Cloud Infrastructure Supporting Mission-Critical Operations?
QSSHire is seeking a Platform Engineer to support the design, deployment, and sustainment of secure cloud infrastructure and platform services supporting mission-critical applications. This role focuses on Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, automation, and cloud-native technologies to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure platform capabilities across enterprise environments.

In This Role, You'll:
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure supporting enterprise applications and services.
• Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized application environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using Ansible and Puppet.
• Support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments through installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes applications using Helm.
• Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and platform deployments.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices by integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Manage AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and permissions.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, scalability, and operational health.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, automation, and container platform issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers, cybersecurity teams, and cloud architects to improve platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to optimize infrastructure performance, automation, and cost efficiency.

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required to start.
• Professional experience supporting enterprise platform engineering or cloud infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps principles and secure automation practices.
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with configuration management tools including Ansible and Puppet.
• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes applications using Helm.
• Experience with container technologies and container lifecycle management.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience managing AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering teams.
