Position Summary
Odyssey is recruiting for a Program Manager that will be responsible for leading planning & execution of a diverse $35M+ annual portfolio. This role will be providing program management support to Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR) hardware development, operations, integration, and sustainment planning.
This is a full-time position at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO.

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a valid DOD Top Secret clearance
Education: High School Diploma
Years of Experience: 20 years of directly related program management experience, 8 of which must be in the DoD. Higher education can substitute years of experience listed under preferred.
Preferred Certifications: DoD PM level II or level III certification
Preferred Education and Experience: BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD OR,

Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Space Force.
- Apply knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.
- Support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines.
- Recommend viable solutions to problems and the pursuit of alternative courses of action.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in written communications.
- Provide quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc).
- Plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment.
- Formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives.
- Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. CPAR, MAR, Program Review etc.).
- Support program management reviews, senior-level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews.
- Supporting and developing various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks.
- Supporting implementation and execution of Agile software development processes.

- Possesses the advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field.
- Possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices in their area of expertise.
Preferred Certifications: DoD PM level II or level III certification
Preferred Education and Experience: BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD OR,
- 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
