Senior Network Engineer

Location: Hybrid Remote, Washington DC

This is a Senior Network Engineer position with Softek International Inc. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructure solutions. You will work with advanced networking technologies and protocols to ensure robust, secure, and high-performance network systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable network architectures
• Manage network infrastructure and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure network security and compliance with standards
• Collaborate with teams to support business needs
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering
• Expertise in routing and switching technologies (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols and practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field
• Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)

Clearance Requirement: Public Trust clearance may be required for certain assignments.
