Job Overview

Xpect Solutions is seeking a highly creative and strategic Digital Communications & Multimedia Specialist to support a fast-paced enterprise communications and technology modernization environment. This role combines graphic design, multimedia production, executive communications, branding, and digital engagement, making it ideal for a versatile communications professional who excels at transforming complex technical information into compelling visual and digital products.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted communications advisor, partnering with stakeholders and senior leadership to develop high-quality communications materials that support organizational initiatives, technology programs, and enterprise messaging. This position requires exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.. The position is hybrid, based in Washington, D.C., with an expectation of approximately 50% onsite presence, particularly during onboarding.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop professional communications products, including:
  • Executive presentations
  • Reports and briefing materials
  • Infographics and data visualizations
  • Brochures and marketing materials
  • Digital graphics and visual communications products
  • SharePoint and web-based content
• Produce, edit, and deliver multimedia content, including:
  • Video production and editing
  • Photography and photo editing
  • Motion graphics and visual storytelling assets
  • Digital marketing and communications content
• Serve as a communications and design consultant to stakeholders, providing guidance on:
  • Graphic design
  • Branding standards
  • Visual communication strategies
  • SharePoint design and user experience
  • Multimedia content development
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders and senior leadership to create compelling communications products that support strategic objectives.
• Translate complex technical and operational concepts into clear, engaging, audience-focused visual communications.
• Develop and maintain branding elements and communications products across digital and print platforms.
• Support enterprise communications, marketing, and modernization initiatives through innovative design and storytelling approaches.
• Conduct research and ensure communications products comply with applicable policies, guidelines, and approval processes.
• Manage multiple communications projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Support content planning, communications strategies, and stakeholder engagement efforts.

Requirements
Must-Have

• Active Top Secret clearance
• 3+ years of experience in communications, multimedia production, graphic design, digital content development, or a related field
• Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
  • Lightroom
  • Premiere Pro
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including:
  • PowerPoint
  • Word
  • SharePoint
  • Visio
• Demonstrated experience developing executive-level presentations and communications materials
• Strong graphic design, branding, and visual communications experience
• Experience producing and editing multimedia content, including video, graphics, and photography
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work directly with senior stakeholders and provide communications and design recommendations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, professional deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting communications initiatives within a federal government environment
• Experience designing and managing SharePoint sites and digital collaboration platforms
• Knowledge of communications approval processes, governance, and federal communications guidelines
• Experience supporting enterprise technology, IT modernization, cybersecurity, or digital transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with branding and strategic communications programs for large organizations
