Job Description:
The selected candidate will develop, implement and maintain various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Candidate will assist in the identification of tooling requirements and processing tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Team member will be responsible for assisting in the investigation and resolution of manufacturing related issues. May also be responsible for collecting data to support producibility assessments for part or product designs. The successful candidate will assist in developing work statements and sequencing of limited scope with internal business partners and in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents. Team member will work under close supervision.
Position Responsibilities:
Build technical data packages for use by suppliers.
Develop and implement manufacturing plans.
Resolve technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost, or schedule.
Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigating alternative solutions to meet producibility requirement.
Create installation planning and supporting installation planning shipside in San Antonio.
Support team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects.
Work under a lead to support timely delivery of engineering release and manufacturing deliverables.
May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs and deadlines..
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must be able to work in team environment
1+ years experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
1+ years experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
1+ years experience applying professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Previous Experience as ME
Gold ESP
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills.
Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request.
Education / Experience:
AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
