Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational goals. The HRBP provides guidance and support in talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, organizational development, and change management. This role collaborates closely with leaders to drive employee engagement, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and maintain our high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership
Partner with business leaders to understand organizational objectives and develop people strategies that support business outcomes.
Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent development.
Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to recommend solutions and improve business performance.
Support organizational growth initiatives, restructuring efforts, and change management programs.
Employee Relations
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
Investigate and resolve workplace concerns, conflicts, and employee complaints.
Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful work environment.
Employee Benefits
Serve as primary point of contact for benefit plan vendors, administrators, advisors, and company employees.
Evaluate Evlos’ suite of employee benefits and associated vendors, recommending improvements where appropriate to remain competitive in our industry.
Oversee the enrollment process for new hires as well as the annual open enrollment period for all employees, coordinating with third-party advisors and vendors to ensure a smooth process.
Talent Management
Partner with leaders to identify talent needs and support recruitment and retention strategies.
Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
Coach managers on employee development, performance improvement, and career progression.
Organizational Development
Assess organizational effectiveness and recommend strategies to improve team performance and employee engagement.
Support change management initiatives and organizational transformation efforts.
Compliance & Policy Administration
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
Partner with legal and compliance teams as needed to mitigate risk.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
HR Metrics & Reporting
Monitor key HR metrics, including turnover, engagement, retention, and workforce demographics.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to business leaders.
Support HR initiatives through reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
Personnel Security
Serve as the company Facilities Security Officer (FSO), supporting the virtual Certified Special Security Officer (CSSO) with onsite presence at Evlos’ headquarters office.
Hold the responsibility of receiving, transmitting, and storing personnel security information in accordance with industry security standards.
The FSO role requires a security clearance, which the company will sponsor for the right candidate.
Event Support
Assist with the planning and execution of company events including recruiting events, happy hours, annual events such as the holiday party and family picnic, and hosted events at our HQ office.
Management
This position does not involve direct supervision of any team members at present. It does, however, require the coordination, management, and ongoing evaluation of several advisory service providers including 401(k) and insurance benefits administration.

Education and Experience:
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
3+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar strategic HR role.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field required.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
