Job Description

Move Forward with Volt

Volt is immediately hiring a Principal System Safety Engineer in Tucson, AZ.

Contract duration: 12 months
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Experience developing and implementing MIL-STD-882E compliant System Safety Programs.
Strong experience performing System Safety analyses (Task Series 100, 200, 300, and 400).
Knowledge of hazard analysis, risk assessment, and hazard mitigation methodologies.
Experience reviewing and analyzing electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering drawings/schematics.
Ability to develop, evaluate, and verify system safety requirements.
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and product lifecycle management.
Experience preparing and presenting Safety Assessment Reports (SARs), safety briefs, and technical documentation.

Pay Range: $90.00 - $ 100.00 per hour.
