Job Description
Qualifications / Certifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline (preferred)
Experience with ECAD tools (Zuken E3 or similar)
Electrical systems, cable/harness, and wiring design experience
Experience:
Strong experience designing electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, electronic boxes, and power/data distribution architectures for aerospace or other high-reliability applications.
Proficiency developing electrical wiring schematics and utilizing ECAD design tools (Zuken E3 or similar) to create and maintain electrical system documentation.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to define electrical loads, interfaces, routing, subsystem integration, and hardware requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Demonstrated troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience, resolving electrical system anomalies while supporting laboratory, integration, or hardware test environments.
Background:
Experience managing engineering documentation including electrical drawings, procurement packages, procedures, certifications, and overall product lifecycle ownership for electrical systems.
Knowledge of spacecraft, avionics, or complex aerospace electrical systems, including harness design, mechanical interconnects, voltage drop analysis, and COTS electronic equipment.
Experience supporting integrated hardware/software test laboratories or similar engineering test environments through design, installation, integration, and certification activities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams supporting complex aerospace development programs.
